Activities

Surfing and bodyboarding usually take place on Newquay's famous Fistral Beach or at the more sheltered Tolcarne Beach; two minutes walk from Ocean Active's hotel.

Experienced BSA qualified instructors teach both activities. The ALAA licenced centre at Stithians Lake offers sailing, windsurfing and canoeing along with raft building. It is also an RYA approved centre. Many other activities feature.

Log flumes, roller coasters and fairground attractions make Helston's Flambards Theme Park great fun, with enough to occupy kids for the whole day. Entry fees to this and other attractions tend not to be included in published prices. Please consult our current price list to verify what is included in our prices.

Ocean Active's enthusiastic resort team organises a full programme of evening activities including swimming / waterworld, bowling and beach Olympics, as well as hotel-based activities such as scavenger hunts or discos.
